Part-Time or Full-Time Physical Therapy Aide and Administrative Assistant

This is a great opportunity for those who are considering a profession in the medical field to learn first hand what the PT profession entails!

Physical Therapy Aide & Administrative Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Thinking about a career in medicine but not sure where to start? Start HERE. ๐ŸŽ‰

At HARTZ Physical Therapy, we don’t just fix backs โ€” we launch careers. We’re looking for an energetic, people-loving Physical Therapy Aide & Administrative Assistant to join our team and help keep our clinics humming.

This isn’t a “fetch the coffee” kind of job. You’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the best physical therapists around, getting a front-row seat to real patient care every single day. Orthopedics? Yep. Neurological diagnoses? Absolutely. Pelvic health, TMJ, and vestibular specialties? We’ve got specialists in all of them โ€” and they love to teach.

If you’ve ever wondered whether PT school, nursing, medicine, or another healthcare path is right for you, there’s no better way to find out than living it.

But don’t just take our word for it…

Here’s what Owen, our most recent aide, wrote to us after his gap year with HARTZ PT โ€” right before heading off to PT school:

“These past 8 months as a PT aide/patient care coordinator have truly meant so much to me, and I genuinely feel like I became part of the HARTZ family… It was such a unique experience getting to meet so many amazing people while learning from PTs with different specialties, treatment styles, and perspectives. I learned far more than I ever expected, both professionally and personally, and I know these experiences will help shape me into a better future physical therapist. My love for wanting to go into PT as a career has only grown.”

That could be you next. ๐Ÿ’™

What your days will look like

  • Welcoming patients at check-in and sending them off with a smile at check-out
  • Answering our multi-line phone, scheduling appointments, and collecting co-pays
  • Keeping the clinic organized and running like a well-oiled machine
  • Helping patients transition smoothly between appointments
  • Assisting our therapists with clinic duties โ€” prepping, tidying, and maintaining therapy areas before and after patient care

(Heads up: hands-on patient care duties are limited due to Federal and State regulations โ€” but you’ll still learn a TON.)

You might be our person if you…

  • Have a high school diploma (college grads, we’d love to hear from you too!)
  • Can work 3โ€“5 days per week, including Mondays and Fridays (we have some flexibility based on your preferences)
  • Have some evening availability and are willing to work at any of our 6 clinics
  • Bring customer service or service-industry experience โ€” and an upbeat, friendly personality to match
  • Communicate like a pro and genuinely enjoy people
  • Thrive on a team but don’t wait to be told what to do โ€” you see a problem, you solve it
  • Can juggle multiple things at once without dropping the ball
  • Know your way around Windows and Microsoft Word
  • Have eagle-eyed attention to detail (data entry accuracy is a must!)
  • Bonus points for medical experience โ€” but it’s absolutely not required

Ready to apply? Here’s how

Send us your resume AND a cover letter (Word or PDF) โ€” and yes, the cover letter is required. We actually read them! Please tell us:

  • About your previous experience (and any gaps in employment)
  • Your short-term and long-term career goals
  • Any limitations in your weekly availability
  • Your strengths and personal interests โ€” both in and out of the clinic
  • What makes YOU unique? What sets you apart from the stack of other applicants?

Please everything to ahartz@hartzpt.com

We can’t wait to meet you!
