HARTZ PT Spring Swing 2023

For Immediate Release

HARTZ PT 2023 Spring Swing CheckLititz, PA June 20, 2023 – HARTZ Physical Therapy presented a check for $9,500 last week to Off the Streets, a nonprofit active in helping the homeless in Lancaster County for over 10 years.  The money was the result of HARTZ PT’s 2nd annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament which was held May 12th at Crossgates Golf Club in Millersville, PA.

The Spring Swing Golf Tournament was the brainchild of HARTZ PT therapists, and avid golfers Daulton Rutter and Kevin Sisbarro.  “Daulton & Kevin really did an incredible job organizing this tournament, all our golfers had a fabulous time, and I can see the impact this event is going to make for years to come,” said Brian Hartz, owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy.

“HARTZ Physical Therapy is a valued business entity, living out their pledge to give back to the community they serve, with “all hands-on deck” projects.  They have enhanced our visibility in Lancaster County, and helped us in significant ways, to lift vulnerable families trying to help themselves into permanent housing,” said Lena Hohenadel with Off the Streets.

Referrals from the Off the Street’s community partners have increased significantly this year, as have the funds needed to assist with security deposits. All proceeds from the Spring Swing will be used for this purpose.  “There are no words to accurately describe our respect and gratitude to the team at Hartz Physical Therapy. They worked hard to create a day of golf that was fun for all, but also benefited the marginalized in Lancaster County. It was a winning event for everyone,” said Hohenadel.

“We were very excited to see how the event has grown since the inauguration of it just last year. It’s been great to see the community rally and participate in supporting Off the Streets in their mission to serve Lancaster County.  I want to thank our sponsors Roseville Wealth Management Group, Resonance Audiology, BCF Group, Schwanger Bros., MAJIK, Gibbel Insurance, Chieppor & Egner, LLC, T-Mobile, and Hinkle Insurance for all their support,” said Daulton Rutter, HARTZ PT Physical Therapist and co-chair of the Spring Swing.  He continued, “The friendly competition on the course that day was awesome!“

Through the HARTZ PT Charitable Organization founded in 2020, HARTZ PT spends an average of 50 volunteer hours and contributes more than $1,000 per employee in support of local charities each year.  To date the company has raised over $300,000 by planning various charitable events, including an April food drive to benefit Power Packs Project called Feed the Need, and the annual Fall Blast 5K Run/Walk.  Bench Mark Program, Off the Streets Lancaster, A Week Away, Aaron’s Acres, Lancaster Science Factory and Hospice of Lancaster are a few of the local charities who have benefitted from HARTZ PT’s charitable programs.
