HARTZ PT Spring Swing 2024

For Immediate Release

HARTZ PT donates $10,000 to Off the StreetLititz, PA June 19, 2024 – HARTZ Physical Therapy presented a check this week for $10,000 to Off the Streets, an all-volunteer organization that has assisted over 5,070 men, women & children since 2013 to access permanent housing. The money resulted from HARTZ PT’s 3rd annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament, held May 10th at Crossgates Golf Club in Millersville, PA.

The Spring Swing Golf Tournament was the brainchild of HARTZ PT therapists, and avid golfers Daulton Rutter and Kevin Sisbarro.  “Daulton & Kevin did an incredible job organizing this tournament. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful turnout, and all our golfers had a fabulous time,” said Brian Hartz, owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy.

“All of us at Off The Streets -Lancaster have such admiration for Brian and Amy Hartz, and for their incredible team. We are so lucky to be one of the many non-profits they have embraced in the past 24 years. We are truly humbled. On a very cold and rainy tournament day, the team, especially Daulton Rutter, Kevin Sisbarro, and Niki Hunt, worked incredibly hard to make it the success it was. Every penny of the $10,000 raised at the Spring Swing will help at least ten households into a home of their own,” said Lena Hohenadel with Off the Streets.

“This tournament continues to grow each year it’s been great to see the community rally and participate in supporting Off the Streets in their mission to help families in Lancaster County.  A special thank you to our sponsors Roseville Wealth Management Group, Resonance Audiology, BCF Group, Tomlinson Bomberger, A Week Away Foundation, Trout CPA, Schwanger Bros., and the Maria Fisher Foundation for all their support,” said Daulton Rutter, HARTZ PT Physical Therapist and co-chair of the Spring Swing.  He continued, “We love working with the team at Off the Streets and can’t thank our golfers enough for braving the rain.  It was epic!“

Through the HARTZ PT Charitable Organization founded in 2020, HARTZ PT spends an average of 50 volunteer hours and contributes more than $1,000 per employee in support of local charities each year.  To date the company has raised over $350,000 by planning various charitable events, including an April food drive that benefitted the Arch Street Center called Feed the Need, and the annual Fall Blast 5K Run/Walk.  Gigi’s Playhouse, Bench Mark Program, A Week Away, Aaron’s Acres, Lancaster Science Factory and Hospice of Lancaster are a few of the local charities that have benefitted from HARTZ PT’s charitable programs.
