Lancaster, PA, July 29, 2025 – HARTZ Physical Therapy proudly presented a $10,000 check last week to Beards for Brothers, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting first responders and their immediate families fighting cancer. The funds were raised through the 4th annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament, hosted by HARTZ PT on May 16th at Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, PA.
Founded by HARTZ PT therapists and golf enthusiasts Daulton Rutter, PT, DPT, OCS and Kevin Sisbarro, DPT, the Spring Swing has grown steadily in both attendance and impact. “Each year, this tournament brings together a fantastic group of golfers and sponsors committed to making a difference,” said Brian Hartz, owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy. “We’re incredibly proud of our team and the community for supporting such a meaningful cause.”
Beards for Brothers provides funding to help first responders & their immediate families fighting cancer in Lancaster County. “We are incredibly honored and grateful to receive a generous $10,000 donation from HARTZ PT made possible through the proceeds of their annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament,” said Rich Bowermaster, founder of Beards for Brothers. “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored, golfed, donated, and helped make this event such a tremendous success. Your support makes a real difference to local first responders with cancer.”
Despite the threat of rain in the forecast the sun shone throughout the day, spirits were high, and community support poured in. “From the first swing to the last, it was a great day,” said Daulton Rutter, who co-chaired the event. “We want to thank all of our participants, volunteers, and generous sponsors who made this day possible.”
Sponsors of this year’s Spring Swing included Roseville Wealth Management, J.L. Fisher Building & Remodeling, BCF Group, Faulkner Chevrolet, Nice Truth Solutions, Lebanon Federal Credit Union, Ebersole Builders, Anytime Fitness, and Trout CPAs.
Through the HARTZ PT Charitable Organization, founded in 2020, the company contributes over $1,000 per employee and over 50 volunteer hours annually to support local nonprofits. To date, HARTZ PT has raised more than $375,000 through initiatives like the Spring Swing Golf Tournament, the Fall Blast 5K, and Feed the Need, its annual April food drive. In addition, they are giving out two $2,500 grants a month throughout 2025 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.
Past charitable partners include Gigi’s Playhouse, Off the Streets, Aaron’s Acres, A Week Away, Girls on the Run and Power Packs Project.
