Denver, CO., November 3, 2022 – HARTZ Physical Therapy was awarded the 2022 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Private Practice Community Impact Award at last week’s national conference in Denver, CO. This award is presented to an APTA Private Practice member who demonstrates the core values of excellence, integrity, social responsibility, altruism, professional duty and has created a unique and sustainable program that positively impacts their community.
“It was an honor to accept the 2022 APTA Private Practice Community Impact Award on behalf of my staff,” said Brian Hartz, DPT and owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy. “It is a direct reflection of the work and dedication of our team who supports our local community year-round. Of course, we are committed to providing unparalleled outcomes and outstanding customer service to our patients, but equally as important are the contributions we are making in the community where we live and work,” he continued.

Though the HARTZ PT Charitable Organization founded in 2020, HARTZ PT spends an average of 50 volunteer hours and contributes more than $1,000 per employee in support of local charities each year. To date the company has raised over $272,000 by planning various charitable events, including an April food drive to benefit Water Street Mission called Feed the Need, a spring golf tournament and perhaps their signature event, the annual Fall Blast 5K Run/Walk held every October which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next year. Bench Mark Program, Off the Streets Lancaster, A Week Away, Aaron’s Acres, Lancaster Science Factory and Hospice of Lancaster are a few of the local non-profits who have benefitted from HARTZ PT’s charitable programs.
