What Makes Brian Special

Brian is the founder and owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy.  As a previous Division I swimmer, Brian has successfully rehabilitated hundreds of competitive swimmers in the Lancaster area.  In addition, Brian enjoys treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. In college, Brian received the Benjamin Mannheimer Award, for excellence in orthopedic physical therapy.

After treating patients for 20 years,  Brian no longer carries a weekly patient load.  However, you will still often see him in one of our clinics mentoring staff members, in the Lancaster community speaking or networking or holed-up in his office figuring out the strategic direction of the business.  His leadership will help HARTZ PT continue to thrive in this extremely competitive market for years to come.

Brian is very active in the community, helping various organizations.  In particular, he is a long-time board member of Schreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation. When Brian is not at the office, he enjoys running, swimming, completing various home (or office) renovation projects or spending time traveling with his wife, Amy and three children

I got bored with the business curriculum in college and switched to pre-med.
