Welcome to HARTZ Physical Therapy at 93 Doe Run Road in Manheim.

Our primary goal following joint replacement surgery (partial and total joint replacements/revisions) is to give you the tools you need to restore function and return you to the activities you love without pain. In addition, there is growing evidence that Prehabilitation (improving functional capacity prior to surgery) leads to a reduction of complications and a faster recovery.

Our post-surgery 1-on-1 treatment emphasizes hands-on techniques that are proven to result in better outcomes. We work closely with your surgeon to create an efficient and effective path to recovery while helping you manage your pain without the excessive use of prescription drugs.  We also offer aquatic therapy particularly for knee and hip replacements, as the buoyancy of water significantly reduces weight on the joint, allowing for an easier range of motion while minimizing pain and swelling.

Our Manheim office is conveniently located on Doe Run Road, in the Manheim Shopping Center near Weis and True Value. Our building offers private parking and a handicap-accessible entrance.

Our team-oriented approach ensures consistency of care through 1-on-1 individualized treatment sessions in a fun, comfortable, and supportive environment for patients.  As a small locally-owned business, HARTZ Physical Therapy staff members are focused on providing our patients with plenty of treatment time to ask questions and complete their sessions so they can leave therapy with the tools to maintain a healthy and pain-free life.
