Our Culture, Your Career.

We're Hiring. Come See What Makes Working With Us Different.

What Makes HARTZ PT Different

At HARTZ PT, culture isn’t a buzzword—it’s something you feel the moment you walk through the door. We’ve intentionally built a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, where laughter in the hallway is normal, and where every team member feels valued, supported, and trusted to do what they do best.  We were founded by a physical therapist with a simple belief: when you put your team first, great care naturally follows. That philosophy guides everything we do. It shows up in our one-on-one treatment approach, in how we invest in professional growth, and in the way we protect a healthy, balanced work environment.

A culture rooted in people

We believe great care starts with a great team, so we put our people first. That means giving clinicians the time and space to treat patients the right way—not the rushed, high-volume way. It means encouraging autonomy, listening to ideas, and treating everyone as a professional whose voice matters.

Supportive, Tight-Knit, and Fun

We’re a close team, and we act like one. Whether it’s celebrating birthdays and milestones, cheering on each other’s wins, sharing lunch on a busy day, or stepping in when someone needs a hand, we’ve built a culture that thrives on genuine connection. You won’t find egos here—just teammates who truly have your back.

Leaders Who Listen

Our leadership team is present, approachable, and invested in your success. Decisions aren’t made behind closed doors; they’re guided by staff feedback, clinical insight, and what’s best for patient care. Being independent means we control our own environment—and we intentionally keep it positive, balanced, and human.

Community Is Part of Who We Are

HARTZ PT is deeply rooted in the Lancaster community. From our annual Fall Blast 5K and Spring Swing Golf Tournament to volunteering, sponsorships, and everyday patient interactions, community involvement isn’t an add-on—it’s part of our identity. Staff love that they’re part of something bigger than their caseload.

A Place Where You Can Grow

We invest in professional development, encourage special interests, and support specialty certifications and new programs. If you have an idea, we want to hear it. If you have a passion, we want to fuel it.

If you’re looking for a workplace where culture is authentic—not forced—where people take pride in their work and in each other… that’s HARTZ PT. A place where you can build a career, feel appreciated, and be part of a team that truly cares.

Our Thoughful Treatment Model

  • Max Capacity = 44 visits/week (NOT 55–70 like many other clinics!) You’ll have time to actually treat your patients—with hands-on care and real outcomes.
  • Team-Based 1-on-1 Treatment Model – No appointments less than 45 minutes with the majority a full hour. We pair our PTs and PTAs to work together on one caseload, increasing consistency, support and collaboration among our team.
  • Consistency of Care – You’ll see your patients each time—because that’s how healing happens

Support that Fuels your Growth

  • Virtually Unlimited Continuing Ed Budget – No MedBridge-only limits here. We love sending our team to hands-on courses—and you won’t have to use vacation hours if class falls during the week!  (By the way, we cover your APTA dues too.)
  • Comprehensive Onboarding & Mentorship – Our team is just the right size to support your growth with over 30 clinicians within a 20 mile radius to rely on, your team will have your back no matter what!
  • Leadership That Listens – We’re a family-owned small business. No corporate investors telling you how to treat your patients.

We offer our staff the opportunity to practice PT the way it was meant to be practiced. Period.

We know we are not the biggest provider in Lancaster—and we’re totally okay with that. At HARTZ Physical Therapy, we’ve chosen quality over quantity, connection over quotas, and people over profit. While we may not have 100s of clinics or a huge marketing budget, what we do have is a whole lot of heart—and a job offer packed with perks that actually matter. We’ve built a workplace where you can grow, thrive, and love what you do.  Big isn’t always better. Thoughtful, supportive, and community-rooted? That’s more our style.
