Appointments & Scheduling
Do you offer direct access (Treatment without a prescription from a physician)?Yes! In most cases, you don’t need a doctor’s referral to start physical therapy. You can schedule an evaluation directly with one of our licensed physical therapists and begin your personalized care right away.
If your insurance requires a referral, we can help guide you through that process so nothing slows down your progress.
This keeps it encouraging while still covering insurance realities.
What is the wait time for new patients?
We typically can see new patients within 24–48 hours. If your situation is urgent, let us know, and we’ll do our best to get you in even sooner.
How long will my appointments be?
Your initial physical therapy evaluation typically lasts about 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your condition and treatment goals. Follow-up therapy sessions may vary in length based on your injury, progress, and the level of rehabilitation required. On average, most follow-up appointments last 45–75 minutes, though some may run longer if needed to ensure the best results. While there’s no set time limit for physical therapy, most visits last around one hour to provide enough time for assessment, exercise, and personalized care.
What should I bring to my first visit?
For your first visit you will need your insurance card, and any paperwork that was sent to you that needed to be filled out. If you have any operative reports, MRI or X-ray results, please bring those as well. Additionally, if you are utilizing any type of brace, splint, or crutches, those should come with you.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please notify us as soon as possible once you become aware of the conflict. Because we provide dedicated 1-on-1 treatment time with our therapists, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Appointments canceled after 12:00 pm the business day before your scheduled time will incur a $50 cancellation fee. We will make every effort to reschedule your appointment within one or two days to keep your recovery on track.
Can I request a specific therapist?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to request a specific therapist, and we’ll make every effort to ensure you work with the provider you feel most comfortable with.
