I’ve recommended this place to so many people because I genuinely can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve struggled with chronic pain for four years and have been to countless physical therapy places, and not one of them compares to this one. Every single person on the staff is so kind and welcoming, and you can genuinely tell that they care about their patients. It never felt like I was just another patient or another appointment. They actually took the time to get to know me and made me feel so comfortable being there. I had the privilege of working with Morgan and McKenzie, and I seriously don’t even know where to begin with these two. They are absolute angels and such a blessing. They were so much more than just my physical therapists. They became people I could actually connect with, talk to, laugh with, and feel comfortable around. Going to physical therapy wasn’t always easy for me, but having them there made such a difference. I could genuinely go on and on about these two and how thankful I am that I got to work with them. They’ve made such an impact on me, and I’ll always be grateful for the kindness, patience, encouragement, and care they’ve shown me throughout my time there. If you’re looking for a physical therapy place where you actually feel cared for and seen as a person, I seriously recommend this placeAs a college athlete who is now in his 30s, I strongly encourage anyone who encounters an injury or pain that nags longer or more intensely than normal to schedule an appointment with HARTZ. I had some nagging lower back pain that I thought I could stretch and push through on my own that ended up being a nerve issue that required a different approach than I would normally take. Justin was able to identify this and give me structured plans and measured progress that led to significant improvement in just a few weeks, which would’ve been even faster had I started treatment sooner. In addition to the weekly progress, I left every appointment feeling so much better than when I walked (or some days hobbled) in. The mixture of hands-on treatment, targeted stretches, and pushing of physical boundaries consistently helped relax and strengthen my nerves and muscles. While I’m still not 100% recovered, Justin listened to what I was seeking and gave me the tools to finish out my recovery on my own while ensuring his availability via phone, email, or further treatment should things take a turn. This support helped reduce extended financial burden and show that the people at HARTZ are really interested in your successful recovery and not the dollars you put in their pockets (although those dollars are well spent and earned). In addition to the direct care Justin & Jen provided, the surrounding staff also creates a welcoming atmosphere for all ages from the moment you enter.I went to Hartz to prepare for reverse shoulder surgery on my left shoulder after a massive rotator cuff tear. I had completed 10 PT sessions in Florida but needed to complete a minimum of 2 more before surgery. I had previous experience with Hartz PT when I had both knees replaced at the same time. I relied on Hartz for pre-surgery strengthening and post-surgery recovery, and they performed excellently. So, with my shoulder, I went to Lititz, planning only to complete the two additional PT sessions I needed before surgery. But then I met Justin Seekins, who took the time to explain the surgery and why strengthening the working parts of my shoulder before surgery matters. Although I was slightly skeptical, I remembered that I took the same approach with my knees, and it was a great decision. After twelve sessions, not two, with Justin, I was totally surprised by the increased range of motion that I accomplished. His professionalism and knowledge of my injury and upcoming surgery made all the difference in my attitude toward the exercises that challenged my reduced shoulder flexibility and strength. The improvement I experienced in my sessions at Hartz far exceeded the progress I made in Florida. I can't say enough positive things about Justin and all the other professionals who helped me at Hartz. They were great. A first-class group of professionals helping to improve the quality of life for others. It just doesn't get any better!!Mackenzie and Morgan were just delightful to work with. They adjusted my plan as need. This is a very clean Physical Therapy place with a professional caring staff.This is second time I have been enrolled in Hartz Pt much different much better experience this time. Not just because I feel and see progress. Avery is a definite asset to your program. As a retired RN I see lots of value in PT. I think it’s a great job. Anything to help someone is good in my book. A good place to get physical therapy.+0Team i had were great to work with during my surgery recovery. I recommend Hartz.I play D1 football for JMU and injured my knee this past spring during a practice. I had some time in May to come home to lititz and go to physical therapy to work on recovery. I had always heard good things about Hartz Physical therapy so I decided to schedule with them. I got the opportunity to work with Justin Seekins, DPT and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience and the progress I made in the three in a half short weeks we had together. After evaluating and talking through some of my goals, we got to work. Not only did I work on my knee doing sport specific exercises, but Justin also gave me some of his sprint form knowledge that allowed me to not only work on my knee but make strides in my game as well. I would recommend Hartz Physical Therapy and more specifically Justin Seekins to any athlete in a similar situation looking to recover from an injury and make the most of an opportunity.I can’t say enough about Hartz Physical Therapy! From the first time I called to inquire about services, through my treatment to my celebratory “graduation” from PT, I was treated with professionalism, kindness, genuine care and respect. MacKenzie and Morgan are great at what they do! I came to Hartz Physical Therapy suffering from lower back pain and balance problems. Dan was very skilled in muscle therapy and balance exercises to gradually strengthen my back muscles and restore my balance to prevent falling. I was then able to transition into the MAG (Medically Adaptive Gym) program at Hartz. At MAG Aaron created an individual exercise program for me to maintain and increase my muscle strength and keep improving my balance. The tools I received during physical therapy and the MAG program at Hartz have greatly improved my quality of life. They are THE BEST!

Great experience. The exercises and advice Emily has given has been very helpful. As a result of my accident my finger joints were very stiff but now they are nearly normal. I am confident by the time my therapy is complete I will have full use of them.Lauren and the team did a wonderful job getting me back on my feet and moving. Compassionate and very knowledgeable. I didn’t think I had the confidence to walk with a prosthesis, but I was absolutely wrong. With Jamie’s unwavering excellence of dedication; amputee knowledge and with all the physical therapy care I get at each and every visit, I am now confident that I will once again walk tall and do all the activities I used to enjoy with my wife. Jamie is absolutely one of the best of the best physical therapists out there, especially for amputees. With the utmost honesty, if you need a physical therapist, I wholeheartedly recommend Jamie Hreniuk, especially for those who need help relearning to walk again, be it from an injury, a medical condition(s) or as a new amputee.I had a great experience at Hartz PT for concussion recovery. My therapist, Kailey Kelly, was incredibly helpful and supportive. Her knowledge and experience, in addition to her compassionate approach, made a huge impact on my rehab. The education she provided made a challenging time much more bearable. After significant balance and dizziness issues, I was able to return to my usual routine more quickly than expected. I highly recommend Kailey and Hartz if you are dealing with post-concussion symptoms. Definitely a game-changer for my recovery!Fantastic people, fantastic results. I worked with a lot of people over the months but primarily Dan (PT), Peter (PA) and Emily (OT). Helen at the front desk is wonderful and super helpful. (everyone is super nice and a pleasure to work with) I know everyone's journey is different... I am 44 and was in reasonable shape before getting in a pretty horrific motorcycle accident. 20+ broken bones, I arrived in a wheelchair and was very dependent. After about 5 months at Hartz I am getting around quite well with and without a cane and am very independent again. I am to a point where I feel confident in my home exercises to get me back to as close to 100% as I can hope for.This was our first experience with this physical therapy location and they were absolutely wonderful. We had started at the Mount Joy location which was also great however we had some needs for neurological therapy which was why they referred us to their Lancaster branch. I cannot say how patient and understanding they were with us. Thank you for an absolutely positive experience with physical therapy. Will definitely refer and/or use this group in the future!Great from the beginning-all are helpful, determining what you need and great at helping you achieve what is needed for you personally.I enjoyed the focus my therapist had while working with me! She remembered my stories. And kept me pushing forward each time I was in. Thank you for her dedication and patience working with me.Hartz Physical Therapy - Lancaster West is the absolute best place to a receive a physical therapy program designed for your specific needs! Celia, specializing in pelvic floor therapy, is so knowledgeable and creates a program tailored to your specific needs. She helped me heal post-partum and strengthen my body to get me back to myself. I wasn't sure anything would relieve my neck and back pain and give me back my ROM. Justin and Jen were excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. They started me on an exercise program that increased my strength and stability where needed and on days when I had more pain they did muscle manipulation/massage. They were very attentive and invested in my success with the program. By the time discharge came, my pain was greatly diminished and I was able to do more than I ever thought possible! Hartz Therapy, Ephrata has amazing, knowledgeable, and caring therapists. I look forward to each visit because I know they will get me back to my pre-surgery self (even better) and they are truly wonderful people to be around. (Injury not from pickleball) I saw David, working with several other therapists. They worked me hard with many varied exercises. There was always, and I still have, homework. My results have been amazing. Day 1 of therapy I had zero mobility. After 3 months, I had 80% and today, I have regained darn near 95% of my shoulder function. It's not easy and I had to pay the co-pays. But, now that it is over, I am sure I did the right thing to enjoy an active life .....and be able to hit my overhead pickleball shots! They also support local charities and are very engaged with local community outreach. The people here are so very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful in getting my knee back to normal!! When you leave they give you detailed copies of exercises you did with them, so that I may do them at home to keep my knees in shape. They make you feel like you are part of their family at Hartz! Posted on GoogleRichard C17 days agoI recently had total knee surgery about 6 weeks ago and 2 days after my knee surgery I started to go to Hartz Physical therapy in Mount Joy because it was a very convenient location. It's 5 minutes from my house. I was glad I chose Hartz. I had read reviews before going there and was happy that they had a 5 star rating from many people that had gone there. All the therapist there are wonderful, friendly and understanding of your physical therapy needs. My therapists were Krystal and Brynn. They both helped me get my strength back in my leg through stretching, strengthening exercises and massage to get my mobility back. I highly recommend them and hope you will consider them for all your physical therapy needs. They also have a pool even though I didn't use it for that kind of therapy also. You will not be disappointed in the care you get there. UPDATE: ALL THE ABOVE IS WHEN I HAD LEFT REPLACEMENT KNEE SURGERY. This past June I had total right knee replacement surgery. Hartz Physical therapy did such a great job with my left knee recover of course I came back to them again with my right knee recovery. This time I had Josh Varner. Josh and I got along great and he and I had alot of things in common to talk about while doing the exercises. Josh is very knowledgeable and friendly. He knows how and what to do to get you back into life again. He let's you know your doing well by praising and encouraging you as you progress through the process of strengthening your muscles reand ligaments. I highly recommend Josh or any of the great physical therapists that work there. I also have to mention Andrea who works the front desk for scheduling and greeting and other tasks I have seen her do there. She very personalble, friendly and can answer any questions you may have. I’m back for Hip mobility therapy and now have Crystal and Ashley as my team. They are so professional, kind, and careful to adjust my treatment according to my pain level. I finished my three month therapy and now am more mobile and feel so much better. My team, Crystal & Ashley are amazing. From sitting and explaining on their laptop what is happening to cause your pain, to the massage that relaxes it, to the proper treatment and exercises for home care, you feel confident you are in the right place. Last but not least, they make you feel like you just had a visit with your friend. I will never go anywhere else when I need physical therapy. Simply the best!Posted on GoogleMichael M130 days agoI started physical therapy at the Hartz Mount Joy location back in April as part of my recovery from multiple multiple surgeries to resolve infections in both psoas muscles and my spine. I worked with both Brianna and Bella, and couldn't be happier with my progress and the level of care I received. If you are in need of physical therapy, I would recommend you give Hartz Mount Joy a try for the following reasons: knowledge of my therapist(s), their constant "check-ins" to make sure I felt my sympton were being addressed, willingness to adjust my program if needed, and overall pleasant and caring demeanor.

I was referred by my dentist due to clenching severely at night and having constant headaches and migraines. I have suffered for 3-4 years of debilitating migraines not knowing that it was my clenching at night & stress that were triggers. Coming here has been life changing. Patrick and the team were amazing at teaching me stretches and exercises that addressed my TMJ issues and clenching.
