LITITZ, PA – January 6, 2026 – HARTZ Physical Therapy is proud to reflect on a momentous 2025 that marked the practice’s 25th anniversary, serving the community with exceptional care and an unwavering commitment to giving back.
Throughout the landmark anniversary year, HARTZ Physical Therapy demonstrated its dedication to the local community through unprecedented charitable contributions and recognition from state leadership. The practice awarded 24 grants of $2,500 each to deserving organizations and individuals, totaling $60,000 in direct community support. Grant recipients were nominated by community members, with finalists selected through monthly social media voting that engaged residents throughout the region. These grants touched lives across Lancaster County funding initiatives in healthcare, education, youth programs, and community development.
In addition to the grant program, HARTZ Physical Therapy provided major sponsorships to two vital community causes. The practice raised $17,000 for Milagro House from their annual Fall Blast 5K & Kids Color Run, helping advance the organization’s mission to mothers in need. HARTZ PT also donated $10,000 to Beards for Brothers the proceeds from their annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament, supporting first responders and their families with cancer.
The anniversary year brought distinguished recognition from state and federal leadership. Congressman Lloyd Smucker visited HARTZ Physical Therapy to personally present a congratulatory letter acknowledging the milestone achievement. “Since your humble beginnings in downtown Lititz to the present day, where you have 6 locations and over 40 employees across the county, Hartz Physical Therapy has continuously improved the lives of the patients you serve,” Representative Smucker wrote. He praised the practice’s patient-centered approach and range of specialties, noting they “designate you as one of the best physical therapy practices in the county, the region, and beyond.” Representative Smucker also commended the practice’s charitable efforts, including food drives, walk events, and the 25th anniversary community grant program. “Counting your business and your charitable work, Hartz Physical Therapy has made our community a healthier and better place to live,” he concluded.
Pennsylvania Senator James Malone also visited HARTZ Physical Therapy to present founder Brian Hartz with an official Pennsylvania Senate Proclamation, recognizing a quarter-century of clinical excellence, community leadership, and Brian’s vision of creating a practice that not only heals patients but strengthens the entire community.
“Reaching our 25th anniversary was incredibly meaningful, but what made 2025 truly special was the opportunity to give back to the community that has supported us for all these years,” said Brian Hartz, founder of HARTZ Physical Therapy. “Every grant we awarded, every sponsorship we made, and every patient we helped reinforced why we do this work. We’re honored to have received recognition from Senator Malone and grateful to continue serving this community for years to come.”
