BRIAN HARTZ, DPT, MPT, OCS, CSCS (Owner)

Board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Board certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS)

Highlights and Specialties:
Brian is the founder and owner of HARTZ Physical Therapy.  As a previous Division I swimmer, Brian has successfully rehabilitated hundreds of competitive swimmers in the Lancaster area.  In addition, Brian enjoys treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries.
In college, Brian received the Benjamin Mannheimer Award, for excellence in orthopedic physical therapy.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA).  Brian has also achieved the designation of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), which recognizes those physical therapists who have achieved excellence in their profession.

When Brian is not at the office, he enjoys running, swimming, completing various home renovation projects or spending time travelling with his wife, Amy and three children.

 

MEGAN SABOL, DPT, OCS, COMT, (Physical Therapist)

Education:
BS, Kinesiology, The Pennsylvania State University Doctorate, Physical Therapy, University of Delaware

Certifications:
Board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Certified in orthopedic manual therapy through Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS), hands-on approach, focused on the continual assessment and effective treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders.

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2007, you will find Megan in our Lititz office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  She specializes in treating spine injuries and chronic neck and back pain.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA).  When not at the office, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean and their two adorable boys.

 

DAVID SNYDER, DPT, CSCS (Physical Therapist)

BS, Business Administration, Messiah College, MS, Exercise Physiology, West Chester University, Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), Arcadia University

Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS)

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2017, David particularly enjoys treating athletic and orthopedic injuries, David enjoys training for triathlons and completed the Lake Placid Ironman in 2012.  When he is not at the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

DAN HERRMANN, DPT, OCS (Physical Therapist)

 Education:
BS, Exercise Physiology, West Virginia University,  Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), Arcadia University

Certifications:
Board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).  Also working toward becoming a  Certified Mackenzie provider.

Highlights and Specialties:
Dan specializes in sports and orthopedic injuries, idiopathic knee pain, as well as post-surgical rehab followi.  As a lifetime golfer, Dan is also a golf-injury specialist.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA).  Dan works with Janelle, seeing patients in both our Lititz and Ephrata offices.

LORI KERR (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2017  Lori enjoys working along side a PT to ensure patients have the most effective recovery possible.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA).

When not at the office, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years and her two sons, as well as cooking and running.

KRYSTLE GROFF (Physical Therapist Assistant)

Education: AS, Physical Therapy Assistant, Central Penn College

Highlights and Specialties:  Krystle was an avid swimmer in high school and has first hand knowledge of rehabilitation of the lower extremity.

Krystle enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters as well as hunting, camping and crafting.

JANELLE HORNING (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Education:
AS, Physical Therapy Assistant, Central Penn College

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2017. Janelle has a special interest in Neurological rehabilitation and PNF stretching techniques.  Janelle works with Dan Herrmann in both the Lititz and Ephrata offices.

Outside of the office, Janelle enjoys running, reading, hiking, cooking, helping on the family farm and spending time with her husband, Austin, friends and family.

 

KELLY PYLE (Physical Therapy Aide)

Education:
BS, Exercise Science, University of Delaware

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2001, Kelly has been working along side Brian to assist patients in their recovery for a long time!  Brian refers to Kelly as his “right-hand woman” when it comes to treating patients.  Kelly also helps patients on Bobby’s team.

When not at the office, Kelly enjoys watching her daughters play Warwick sports and spending time with family and friends.

 

MISSY VRACARICH (Front Desk Manager)

Education:
Warwick High School

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2016, Missy enjoys ensuring our patients who arrive in Lititz are enthusiastically welcomed.  One of the things Missy enjoys most about her job is the seeing the progress as patients come in the first time in pain and leave several weeks later with increased function and often, a better mood!

When not working, Missy enjoys running and bike riding, not to mention, she loves going to concerts!

 

MELISSA POTTS (Front Desk Coordinator)

Education:
AS in Applied Science from Delaware Valley Community College

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2018, Melissa plans to go back to school part-time to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2019.  Melissa partners with Missy to ensure our patients are comfortable and ready for therapy.  Melissa enjoys the variety of skills required for her job and the day-to-day interactions with our patients.

When not at the office, Melissa enjoys all things outdoors, hiking, biking and being active as well as hanging out with her friends and family.

 

DEB REINHART (Billing Manager)

Education:
Conestoga Valley High School

Highlights and Specialties:
A HARTZ PT team member since 2003, Deb manages our billing department.  Deb is continually challenged as she manages constant changes in the insurance reimbursement industry.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys biking, hiking and spending time with her family.

 

JOY BRAAS (Billing Assistant)

Education:
Medical Assisting, National College of Business and Technology (Nashville, TN)

Highlights and Specialties:
Joy started working for HARTZ PT in 2013 as a part-time front desk associate and has worked at the front in several of our offices.  Recently, she has taken on a new role in the billing department and is considered an expert on the intricacies of health insurance.  When not at the office, Joy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

ROSE KING (Billing Assistant)

Education:BS, Education, Millersville University, Income Tax Certificate from Federated Tax Service, Diploma from the North American School of Bookkeeping and Accounting.

Highlights and Specialties:
Rose started out with Kauffman Physical Therapy and joined the HARTZ team following the merge.  Working for HARTZ part-time, Rose has years of experience in collections and billing and enjoys the challenges that come with it.

When not at the office, Rose enjoys reading, taking walks and spending time with her friends and family. She is also very active in her church community.

 

AMY HARTZ (Financial Officer)

Highlights and Specialties:
Amy has been with HARTZ from the beginning and her responsibilities have changed throughout that time.  Currently, she is responsible for all accounting and financial reporting functions of the business as well as ad design, internal marketing, website updates and technology management.   Although you may catch her in the office several times per week, Amy works primarily from home.
When not working, Amy enjoys running, scenic photography, travelling and spending time with her husband, Brian and their 3 children.

GINNY WEAVER (External Marketing)

Highlights and Specialties:
Believe it or not, Ginny was the first employee of HARTZ PT back in 2000. Ginny was our Office Manager from the beginning and has recently transitioned to retirement, while still working a few hours each week in external marketing for HARTZ PT.

Ginny enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she is an excellent cook as well!
